Features
Everything a walk already earns you.
None of this asks for more from you than the walk you were already going to take.
Hapoo is a free iPhone app that counts the dog walks you already do using your phone's motion sensor, with no GPS tracking and no account required.
Points that mean something at every level
Every walk, every kilometre, every rest day you still show up for pays out — and the rate climbs the further you get, so level 80 pays properly, not the same flat rate level 2 did.
Twenty-one characters, one long ladder
Hapoo levels up first — Stray, Settling, Regular, fully himself — then the next character starts, and the next, all the way to Duke. Each one costs more than the last, on purpose: the ladder should get harder, not stay flat.
Streaks that forgive a bad week
Miss a day and the streak doesn't just vanish — it decays gradually, and a Streak Shield (earned with points, priced to match your own level) can cover a missed day outright.
Weekly leagues, anonymous cohorts
Get sorted into a small weekly group of similarly-active walkers. Finish in the top of your cohort and you're promoted; finish at the bottom and you drop — no accounts, no leaderboard full of strangers' real names.
Referrals that reward real invites
A short code, not a link — because there's nothing to tap through to yet. Credit lands only once a friend logs a genuine first walk of their own, not just an install.
A character network you meet in the real world
Characters spawn near real parks and green spaces. Walk up, and an AR meet — GPS-checked, not just tapped from your sofa — adds them to your collection for good.
A reward catalogue, not a coupon wall
Points redeem for real things — a Streak Shield, and (as partnerships land) genuine discounts from brands dog owners actually use. Priced to scale with your level, so it always costs roughly the same real effort to redeem, whoever you are.
A coach that knows your actual walking
Ask it something and it answers with your real streak, level and dog in view — not a generic chatbot — and it can set the reminder or start the walk for you. It helps with everyday worries, never diagnoses, and sends anything serious straight to your vet.
The multiplier
A rate that actually climbs.
Hapoo's own arc pays 1.0x at the very start, climbing to 2.0x by the time he's fully himself. Every character after that keeps the rate climbing further — no free jump for merely arriving at a new one, and no flat plateau once you're there. By the last character on the roster, the same walk pays five times what it did on day one.

Beyond the phone
It follows you off the screen too.
Same walk, same points — just visible wherever you actually are.

Live walk in the Dynamic Island
Start a traced walk and watch it live from the Island or the Lock Screen, the same way you'd track a delivery.
Your whole household
Built for more than one dog, and for your dog specifically.
Your household

One shared streak
Every walk with either dog counts toward the same points and level.
More than one dog
Two dogs, one household, one shared walking life — every walk with either one counts toward the same points, streak and level. No second profile to manage, no split progress.

Scanning…
Scan your own dog in 3D
Using on-device Object Capture, turn your actual dog into a real 3D model — no external pipeline, nothing uploaded, done entirely on your phone.
A layout built for iPhone Duo.
Hapoo is already being adapted for the new foldable iPhone Duo's screen — more of the map, more of the roster, visible at once. Nothing's live yet, but it's on the way.
